Why do Jamaicans run so fast? People around the world, including elite athletes, have been asking the same question for years. While the answers and theories might vary, nobody can deny the fact that Jamaicans’ approach and attitude towards track and field play a fundamental role in their success.
All athletes around the world train hard. However, all the training in the world is useless without a strong belief in one’s self and the ability to cope with pressure. But what is pressure after all? The only pressure you feel is the one you put on yourself. The ability to relax when most people become tense is what separates the great athletes from the good ones.
